A dream kitchen

Beyond the entrance hall you’ll find a comfortable dining room that leads you into the tastefully constructed, well-appointed solid oak kitchen. It’s rare for holiday homes to feature such light, spacious kitchens so this is a definite starring attribute. It’s your home-from-home with everything you need to prepare a celebration meal alongside good quality appliances: ceramic hob, electric fan oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

You’ll find the first bedroom downstairs too. The twin room, right next to the quiet, airy garden, has its own adjoining luxury shower, WC and washbasin.

A living room with a view

The sitting room (located upstairs) features plenty of seating and a flat-screen smart TV. It has a sublime view of the British countryside: look out over a green, wooded valley and horse paddock. It’s a great space to unwind. The master bedroom also has stunning views across the bay towards Seaton, with an en-suite bathroom containing a bath, toilet, washbasin, and separate shower cubicle.

Back outside you’ll want to make every possible use of the picnic table seating for al fresco dining beside the well-maintained gardens which the guests at Garlands can all enjoy.

All linen and towels are provided. There’s private off-road parking, free wifi, and your well-behaved dogs are very welcome. Don’t forget – the peaceful retreat of The Boat Shed is a mere 10-minute stroll from the beach and coastal path
